DSI compatible systems & Screw Removal Kitis designed specifically for the extraction of broken, ill-fit, or misplaced compatible systems. As well as removing and extracting a broken or fractured fixation screw from the compatible systems's inner thread. This is not an invasive solution without the need for surgical intervention. The procedure is fast, reliable, and not traumatic for the professional use. When the broken screw is lifted from the compatible systems it then can be replaced by a new prosthetic solution with a new fixation screw.
The kit includes extraction drills that are able to fit most of the platforms and compatible systems sizes available on the dental market. It also includes reverse and tap drills for extracting broken and fractured screws from the compatible systems. The tapered body of the removal drill tools engages with the internal threads of the compatible systems and the screw and allows easy and fast removal. Any sort of compatible systems can be extracted including the ones that are already osseointegrated into a bone structure.
The compatible systems removal drills can be used with a designated ratchet located in the kit, or hand adapter, or can be used with any contra-angle handpiece using the special latch-type RA connection adapter.
The screw removal drills can be used with any contra-angle handpiece and are designed with a universal latch-type RA connection.
The kit includes guides that cover almost all the platforms. These guides will help you to remove the broken screw in an advanced technique when the regular means will not work for some reason. The guides center the reverse drill and stabilize it during the procedure, so you will be able to perform with filigree accuracy. After drilling out the broken screw you can get it out by the regular means using the removal drill.
