MI Paste Plus® contains RECALDENT® (CPP-ACP); Casein Phosphopeptide (CPP) are natural occurring molecules which are able to release calcium and phosphate ions and stabilize Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP), which is also the source of calcium and phosphate. RECALDENT® (CPP-ACP) is a special milk-derived protein that can help decrease dentin hypersensitivity
MI Paste Plus® adheres easily to soft tissue, pellicle, plaque and even hydroxyapatite; they react similar to the mineral/statherin relation in saliva supplying bio-available calcium, phosphate and also fluoride, required for supersaturation to take place.
MI Paste Plus® supplies calcium, phosphate and fluoride needed for patients with poor saliva flow.
RECALDENT® (CPP-ACP) is derived from milk casein. Do not use on patients with a milk protein or hydroxybenzoates allergy. In case of allergic reaction, stop use, rinse mouth with water, and seek medical advice.
