DSI Smart Drills can be used as regular trephine drills, especially beneficial when performing biopsies and harvesting bone for autogenous bone graft placement. They feature laser marks along the body to easily measure the desired depth.

DSI Smart Drills are built from high-quality stainless steel. They deliver high cutting power, corrosion resistance, and reliability even after numerous uses and autoclave cycles. The drills are made with a Latch-Type RA connection and fit any contra-angle handpiece.

The drills have a DLC coating that delivers reduced heat generation and vibration and smoother cutting performance. DLC coating increases the durability of the drill and ensures a longer service life.
