DSI HP Diamond Burs are rotary instruments made specifically for dental technicians and dental laboratories. These burs are made with diamond particles embedded in their surface, which makes them exceptionally durable and capable of grinding or cutting through hard materials like ceramics, metals, acrylic, and composites.
They are used for tasks such as cutting, shaping, and polishing dental prosthetics like crowns, bridges, and veneers. The burs are made of stainless steel shafts and a diamond-embedded working part (the bur's head). They are extremely durable and can be sterilized in an autoclave. The burs are designed with a universal HP shank Ø2.35mm compatible with HP Straight Cone handpieces and Micromotors.
