Adper Single Bond 2 Adhesive is a dental bonding agent that is based on the clinically proven Adper Single Bond Adhesive. It is a total etch, visible-light activated adhesive that contains 10 percent by weight of 5nm diameter silica filler. It can be used for direct light-cured restorative materials, treating cervical sensitivity, bonding laboratory fabricated composite or porcelain veneers with RelyX Veneer Cement, and bonding amalgam and other indirect applications with RelyX ARC adhesive resin cement. The adhesive is available in a vial or unit dose, with a unique translucent vial design that allows for visual inspection of the contents. Adper Single Bond 2 adhesive contains the same components as the original Adper Single Bond adhesive, with the addition of a patented photoinitiator system and a methacrylate functional copolymer first introduced in Vitrebond Glass Ionomer liner/base. This adhesive has been shown to provide a strong and durable bond to both enamel and dentin in just 10 seconds.
